‘The Punjab Day’ was celebrated in the premises of Everest Public Sr Sec School

'The Punjab Day' was celebrated in the premises of Everest Public Sr Sec School, Moti Nagar, Ludhiana on 01st Oct 2010 with great pomp & show. The students came in the traditional Punjabi dresses and presented a colourful program of Songs and Dance. The infants enjoyed 'Giddha & Bhangra' and they were seen overjoyed.

Mrs. Shashi Sharma, In-Charge, cultural activities motivated the infants to participate in such cultural activities. They were also told about the various aspects of Punjab & its cultural heritage.

On this occasion Mrs. Asha Sharma, Coordinator, IGNOU & NIOS was among the students and she distributed sweets and prizes to them. She also explained the duties of students and told them how they would achieve their aims by following the noble path guided by their teachers. She emphasized on the physical development of the children along with their mental development. She appreciated the students on the basis of their performance.
