Lecture on Traffic Awareness Organized

Student Council of Govt. College for Women, Ludhiana organized a lecture on Traffic Awareness, generally in the world particularly in Ludhiana city. Mr. Sajjan Singh Cheema, Additional Deputy Commissioner, Police Ludhiana was the chief guest on this occasion. Mrs. Gurminder Kaur, Principal of the college welcomed the chief guest. Prof. Rajinder Singh of G.G.N. Khalsa College, Ludhiana also spoke on this occasion. He tried to correlate the religion with traffic. He said that we should be as dedicated to traffic rules as we are to religion. The chief guest, Mr. Sajjan Singh Cheema said that on an average, 250 people die in accidents per year in Ludhiana. So we should follow the Traffic Rules to save our lives. Mrs. Sudarshan Mehta, Vice Principal of the college proposed the vote of thanks on this occasion. Dr. Harpreet Kaur Gill, Dr. Mahinder Kaur Grewal, Mrs. Varinderjeet Kaur, Prof. Baldev Singh, Miss Kulwinder Kaur and Mrs. Rosy Sapra were also present.
