Dr. Patar also released a special issue of the literary Punjabi magazine, Trishanku, carrying selected poems of eminent scientists, namely, world renowned wheat scientist Dr. Bikram Gill, eminent crop breeder, Dr. Gurmel Sidhu, biotechnologist, Dr. Gursharan Randhawa, veterinary scientists, Dr. Pradeep Bose, Dr. Balbir B.S.
