A training camp for PAU Kisan Club (Ladies Wing) is being held on June 2 at Kairon Kisan Ghar (KKG), located in the university premises, informed the Director of Extension Education –cum- Programme Director, Dr M.S. Gill. The experts from the PAU Department of Food and Nutrition will dwell on role of zinc in human health and impart practical training to the participants pertaining to the preparation of summer drinks and snacks. Dr Gill informed that apart from lectures and demonstrations, the programme will witness discussions on planning of the activities for the next month and new information on self help groups. Dr H.S.Bajwa, Dr (Mrs) Kiran Bains and Dr (Mrs) Kiran Grover will be the resource persons whereas Mrs Rupinder Kaur will be programme coordinator for the training camp. The registration of the members for the event will take place at 9.30 a.m. on the scheduled day at KKG.
