The N.S.S. Unit, of Govt. College for Women, Ludhiana organized a rally

The N.S.S. Unit, of Govt. College for Women, Ludhiana organized a rally. From the various areas, about one Hundred N.S.S. volunteers participated in the rally. The college principal Mrs. Gurminder Kaur gave green signal to the rally. Speaking on this occasion, college principal said that Health and Hygiene are more important in the society. She said that we should be careful about the hygiene in our life. She further said that we must also be aware of the Voting Right, given to the Indian Citizens. Ours is a largest democracy in the world. If we want our democracy successful, we should exercise our right to vote. It is very painful that only 20% younger generation exercise this right properly. She appeals to the students that in the next elections you must exercise this right to vote. Mrs. Manju sahni, Incharge of the unit said that our students are very aware about this right. The rally went through Guru Nanak Stadium, Fountain chowk, Bharat Nagar Chowk and came back. During the Rally, the students appeal to the various public for hygiene and health. The students in some areas went door to door to educate for this purpose. In the rally, Prof. Kuldeep Singh, Miss Sharanjit Kaur, Mrs. Jaspreet Kaur, Prof. Jaswant Singh and Mrs. Rosy Sapra also participated.
