PAU THREE-MONTHS TRAINING COURSE FOR YOUNG FARMERS

LUDHIANA, DECEMBER 23:



The Directorate of Extension Education, PAU, will be organizing three-months training course for young farmers in integrated crop production from January 3, 2011 to April 4, 2011, at Kairon Kisan Ghar, PAU.



Providing information about the training programme, Dr M.S.Gill, Director of Extension Education, PAU, said that the course will equip the young farmers with the in-depth knowledge about diversification in agriculture, farm management and practical field training will be imparted to them. In order to whet their skills, the subject experts from various departments - Agronomy, Agri Business Management, Dairy Science, Entomology, Horticulture, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, Vegetable Science, Farm Management and Farm Machinery and Power Engineering will provide the participants with theoretical and practical training in different aspects of crop production. The interested candidates should send their applications, duly attested by the village Sarpanch, and supported by matriculation certificate showing date of birth. The applications must reach the Training Unit, Kairon Kisan Ghar or Directorate of Extension Education, PAU by December 30. The candidates will be interviewed on December 31at 9.30 a.m. at Kairon Kisan Ghar.
