Fog in Delhi: Flights in Mumbai airport cancelled, diverted





The thick cover of fog in Delhi had its cascading effect on the flight operations at the city airport here, as six halt flights between Delhi-Mumbai-Delhi were cancelled and a couple of other flights diverted.



Mumbai:



The operation is however now returning back to normal, an airport official said.







\"Three night halt flights between Delhi and Mumbai and another three between Mumbai and Delhi were cancelled due to heavy fog in Delhi,\" a MIAL spokesperson said.







Besides, three flights, which had taken off for Delhi, were also diverted back to Mumbai, the spokesperson said.







The spokesperson said that six international flights and two direct flights to Delhi from other sectors were also diverted to the city airport.
