Hyderabad: The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has summoned RSS executive member Indresh Kumar in connection with the blast at Mecca Masjid in Hyderabad in the year 2007. He is likely to be questioned today.
Indresh Kumar\'s name also figured in the Ajmer blast case, but he wasn\'t named an accused.
The bomb explosion inside Mecca Masjid during Friday prayers on May 18, 2007 had claimed nine lives while five persons were killed in police firing during clashes that erupted after the blast.
The CBI, which registered a case in June 2007 under various sections of IPC and Unlawful Activities Prevention Act in the blast case, has so far named six persons as accused.(With PTI Inputs)
