Handbook (Diary) and Calendar of New Year 2013 for Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University was released by Dr. V.K.Taneja. Vice –Chancellor of Varsity.Dr. H.K.Verma Convener of publication committee said that Directorate of Extension Education published diary and calendar every year. This year diary is also published in English and Punjabi languages separately. Dr. Verma said that under the able guidance of Dr. R.S. Sahota, Director of Extension Education the publication committee tried its best to provide vital information in the handbook. It is a complete document for farmers as well as veterinarians. Diary contains information regarding rearing and take care of livestock and animals, their feed and nutrition, major diseases, value added products, facilities and diagnostic tests available at vet varsity. Interesting and valuable slogans are printed on every leaf of diary regarding livestock professions and general life.
Calendar 2013 also depicts all the holidays of Punjab Govt. to earmark the working days of State Government. Diary and Calendar is available for purchase of general public also at University.
