PAU TO HOLD TRAINING PROGRAMME FOR FARM WOMEN

The PAU Directorate of Extension Education is organizing a training programme on 'Preparation of milk products' at Kairon Kisan Ghar on February 15-16, for the farm women.

Giving details, Dr M.S.Gill, Director of Extension Education, said that the subject experts of the Department of Food Science and Technology, PAU, would whet the knowledge of the trainees by equipping them with the necessary skills required for the preparation of the different milk products and household and domestic activities. He added that participants would be educated about the health benefits of milk and be given practical training in the preparation of flavoured milk, yogurt, skimmed milk (lassi), tutti-fruti ice-cream, kulfi, paneer, chhaina murgi (sweets) and khoya. Dr Gill informed that the registration for the training will be held on February 15 at 9'O clock at the venue of the programme.
