Ludhiana 28/2/2011 (Gurzent Singh)
The students of Biotechnology & Bioinformatics of Guru Nanak Girls College, Model Town, Ludhiana bid farewell to their seniors at a party hosted by them on 28th February, 2011. The function was presided over by Principal, Dr. (Mrs.) Charanjit Mahal. To add colour to the occasion the students presented an entertaining cultural programme. The function comprised of several dances and songs. The major highlight of the show was modeling by the senior students. The winners of Miss Farewell were selected after two rounds. In the first round, students gave their introduction and in the second round they answered well to the question asked by Judges. Miss Hapreet Kaur was crowned Miss Farewell. Miss Indpreet & Miss Divya Lekhi 1st and 2nd runners up respectively. Miss Jaspreet Kaur and Miss Gurpreet Kaur were selected as the Miss beautiful smile and Miss Elegant respectively. Fun games were also played and students gave compliments to their respected teachers. The duty of the judges was performed by. Dr.(Mrs.) Surinder Bhathal and Mrs. Sukhwinder Cheema Dr. (Mrs.) Charanjit Mahal crowned the winners and also advised the students to burn midnight oil for the approaching Annual Exams and come out in flying colours. A wave of cheer and joy prevailed everywhere.
