Shahid Afridi also secure the best figures by any Pakistani bowler in a World Cup encounter.
Earlier, former Pakistan captain Wasim Akram owned that record. He had captured 5-28 in a match at Kimberley against Namibia during the 2003 World Cup in South Africa.
