A T20 Professors Gold Cup cricket match was organised by Punjab Chapter of ISAE (Indian Society of Agricultural Engineers) between the faculties of College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (COAE&T), PAU, and Guru Nanak Dev Engineering College (GNDEC) at the PAU cricket ground. Dr PPS Lubana, Dean, COAE&T, was the chief guest. COAE&T clinched the cup by scoring 112 runs in 20 overs and bundled out GNEC faculty team for 84 runs.
Dr Lubana emphasised that such activities should continue in future. He appreciated the efforts of the Dr CJS Pannu, Chairman, Punjab Chapter of ISAE, Dr Satish Kumar Gupta, captain of COAE&T faculty team and Dr Rupinderjit Singh, captain of GNDEC faculty team, in organising the event. He thanked Punjab Chapter of ISAE and Deepak Builders for support in organising the match. He congratulated the winning team and distributed the mementos and trophies.
Dr Rupinderjit Singh of GNDEC, received the award for the best batsman while Er Mahesh Chauhan from COAE&T received the best bowler award.
