Honda will recall about 693,000 Fit subcompacts and a pair of models not sold in the U.S. to fix engine problems, Bloomberg is reporting.
The Fit, sold in the U.S., is Honda\'s smallest model. But it wasn\'t immediately clear if U.S. models would be affected.
The recalls will take place mostly in Asia, she said. The Tokyo-based carmaker is calling back 168,000 units in Japan, 156,000 units in China and 230,000 units in other Asian countries, Uchida said. The other two models are the Freed and the City.
