LABOUR DAY CELEBRATIONS AT G. N. INTERNATIONAL SEN. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL

The students of G. N. International Sen. Sec. Public School, Model Town, celebrated today, 'May 1' as 'Labour Day' in a very novel way reminding us of their importance which we tend to forget in today's busy world and take their services for granted.

The students of Senior classes (IX to XII) presented a very entertaining cultural programme.

There were dances on songs like –'Saathi Haath Badana'. The theme of child labour was presented in a beautiful choreography presented by the students of X class on the song – 'Taare Zameen Par'.

"Today we are celebrating this day in their honour and to keep us humble and appreciative of their untiring services to the institute and each one of us" said Gurpreet, the Head –girl of school.

"Celebration of May 1 is a recognition of the respect & dignity the labour class deserves & very good occasion to bestow our respect to them all," said Rippanpreet, Vice-President of Students Council.

The celebrations ended with a Lunch hosted by Management, Director, Principal & faculty members in the honour of Class IV Employees & thanked them with all humility for always giving their untiring services with a 'smile' on their face.
