WARM FAREWELL GIVEN TO RETIRING PAU TEACHERS

In different functions organized by the faculty members of different departments, three teachers namely Dr. Inderjit Singh Dhaliwal, Head, Department of Farm Machinery and Power Engineering, Dr. (Mrs.) Subhashini Verma, Professor of Foods and Nutrition and Dr. (Mrs.) Neelam Mahajan, Professor of Extension Education were given warm farewell, today.



Dr. Dhaliwal served PAU for over three decades. In a largely attended farewell function held in the Jacob Hall of College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, the contributions made by him were remembered especially in the area of developing efficient farm machines and guiding postgraduate students.



Dr. Verma served PAU for over 35 years in various capacities and as Head, of the Department of Foods and Nutrition. She is known as a reputed food scientist.



Dr. Mahajan was appreciated by Dr. M.S.Gill, Director of Extension Education as a keen extension worker who organized various farmer oriented training programmes.



The retiring teachers were bid warm send off wishing them a happy retired life and were presented with mementos.
