AGRICULTURAL ENGINEERING STUDENTS LEAVE FOR MOSCOW FOR TRAINING PROGRAMME

LUDHIANA, JUNE 15: 2012



To attend two weeks "Student's Practical Training" at Moscow State University of Environmental Engineering (MSUEE), six third year students of B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) left for Moscow today. The Dean of College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology (COAE&T), Dr PPS Lubana informed that the students namely Rajkamal Singh Dhillon, Surya Jindal, Sahil Narula, Kiranpreet, Kiran Sharma and Pallvi Goyal will participate in the training which will culminate on June 29. The training is being coordinated by Dr V.S. Hans, Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering.



Meanwhile, other six students of B.Tech (Agricultural Engineering) third year will proceed for two weeks training at Moscow State Agro-Engineering University (MSAU), Moscow, from June 18-29, said Dr Lubana. The students including Akshit Puri, Sunil Kumar, Vani Jain, Maninder Kaur Tathgur, Rupinder Kaur Sandhu and Yashika will attend the training programme which is a part of memorandum of understanding (MoU), signed between PAU and MSAU for student-faculty exchange. Dr Satish Kumar, Professor, Department of Processing and Food Engineering, will coordinate and supervise the training
