PAU VEGETABLE SCIENTIST PASSES AWAY

LUDHIANA, JUNE 19:-----



Mr. Jaswinder Singh, Assistant Olericulturist in the Department of Vegetable Science, Punjab Agricultural University died due to heart failure, yesterday. The PAU Vice Chancellor, Dr. Baldev Singh Dhillon, Director of Research, Dr. S.S.Gosal, Director of Extension Education, Dr. M.S.Gill, Registrar, Dr. R.K.Mahey and Deans of the constituent colleges of PAU condoled the untimely demise of Mr. Singh. They expressed their sympathies with the family of the departed soul. In a meeting held in the Department today, faculty, staff and students expressed their profound grief on the untimely death of the scientist. In a condolence message sent to the grieved family, they described Mr. Singh was an honest and dedicated scientist who contributed a lot to help vegetable growers. Dr. P.S.Brar, Head of the Department informed that the \'Bhog and antim ardas\' for will be held on June 27 at village Nandpur (near Naushehra Pannuan), district Tarantaran from 12.00 noon to 1.00 p.m.
