Ludhiana Sahodaya School Competitions (LSSC) at G. N. INTERNATIONAL SEN. SEC. PUBLIC SCHOOL

G. N. International Sen. Sec. Public School, Model Town, organised Ludhiana Sahodaya School Competitions (LSSC) for Solo Classical Dance (Central Zone), today 28.08.2010.



15 teams from eminent schools of the town – K.V.M. School Civil Lines, D.A.V. Public School BRS Nagar, BCM Arya Model, Shastri Nagar, Guru Nanak Public School, Sarabha Nagar, BVM Kitchlu Nagar, Shifaly School Rahon Road, Shamrock School Hambran Road, DAV School Sarabha Nagar Ext., BCM Sr.Sec. Dugri Road, G.N.International Sr.Sec. Model Town, BCM School Basant City, BCM School Chandigarh Road.



The participants set the stage on fire and paid their tributes to God of Arts-Lord Indra.



Dance is the expression of inner beauty, which was very aptly shown on the stage by the budding artists of the town.



The dancers danced very gracefully using excellent movements of their body and facial expressions.



All the major systems of Classical Dances were represented- Bharat Natyam, Kathak, Kathakali, Manipuri very beautifully by the young dancers in vibrant costumes and jewellery.

































The judges for the competition were National level dancer Dr.Mrs.Ishita Arora—Doctor by profession & classical dancer by passion. Second Judge was a Management graduate, owner of a Dance Institute and herself a National level dancer- Mrs.Pratima and the third judge was Ms.Sangeeta- Senior Dance Teacher,SPM School, Ludhiana.

The Chief Guests of the day Mrs. Amrit Kaur Sarna and Mrs.Paramjit Kaur.



The Principal of the host school Mrs.Gurmant Kaur Gill thanked the participating teams for making the event a success and congratulated the winners.
