LUDHIANA, JUNE 25:
The Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) conducted a MET (Masters Entrance Test) - Agriculture 2013 today for admission to postgraduate programmes in the disciplines of Agronomy, Agro-meteorology, Entomology, Extension Education, Food Technology, Forestry, Nematology, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Plant Pathology, Soil Science, and Horticulture (Fruit Science, Floriculture and Landscaping, and Vegetable Science). The entrance test evoked an excellent response from the students, coming from across the Punjab state.
Immediately after his return from Australia today, the PAU Vice-Chancellor, Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon alongwith the University Registrar, Dr P.K. Khanna visited the examination centre for the inspection and to oversee the arrangements for the smooth conduct of the entrance test.
Dr Khanna said that a total of 300 candidates including 192 boys and 108 girls appeared in the test conducted for admission to various postgraduate programmes of the University.
