Congress\'s new media team to meet on Wednesday

With an aim to finetune its media presence ahead of general elections, Congress\' newly appointed television panelists will hold its first meeting in the national capital on Wednesday.

Several young leaders including Union ministers Sachin Pilot, Jyotiraditya Scindia as also Youth Congress chief Rajiv Satav were drafted by the party to put forth its point of view in the media.

Besides the eight party spokespersons, AICC secretaries Meenakshi Natrajan, Shantaram Naik, Ashok Tanwar, Arun Yadav, Deependra Hooda are among the 36 leaders who have been authorised the task of participating in debates and discussions in the media.



Several young leaders including Union ministers Sachin Pilot and Jyotiraditya Scindia were drafted by the party to put forth its point of view in the media.

Manish Tewari, who has been putting forward Congress\' case as party spokesman earlier and now as I&B Minister, is part of the team. Union ministers Shashi Tharoor, RPN Singh, Deepa Dasmunsi, Jayanti Natrajan and Rajiv Shukla are the other members.

Anant Gadgil, son of late Congress veteran VN Gadgil, has been included in the panel. Congress leaders Abhishek Singhvi, Girija Vyas, Satyavrat Chaturvedi, Jagdambika Pal, Rajeev Gowda, PL Punia, Rita Joshi, Akhilesh Pratap Singh, Priyanka Chaturvedi and Nadeem Javed are also on the panel.
