Ex-lovers Akshay and Shilpa party together

The situation could have been too awkward as the ex lovers Akshay and Shilpa bumped into each other at a Diwali bash. The party was thrown by veteran producer and director of small screen Ekta Kapoor. Both Akshay and Shilpa came at the party with their spouses. Akshay was accompanied by Twinkle Khanna while Shilpa was accompanied by Raj Kundra.



As the two ex lovers got face to face, the situation could have got awkward but both were mature enough to handle it with civility and grace. A source said, "It was a warm and cordial meeting."



A source also told that it was Shilpa who took the initiative and went to greet Twinkle who was sitting with Karan Johar's mother Hiroo Johar. Both the ladies exchanged pleasant conversation and enquired the welfare of each other's kids.aj Kundra.



Even Akshay was seen striking a conversation with Raj. Raj promised him to send him a copy of his newly published book. The book is titled 'How Not To Make Money'.



Well, it was definitely a welcome sign that our stars do not carry their past on their backs.



Shilpa and Raj have launched their home production company called Essential Sports and Media Pvt Ltd. and they are in the process of producing a movie called 'Dishikiyaaoon'. The lead casts of the movie are Sunny Deol and Harman Baweja. The female lead will be played by a new comer Ayesha Khanna.



Shilpa tweeted, "Also introducing a new heroine Ayesha Khanna.Do gimme ure feedback.The Best feedback will get 2 meet me,will make the announcement here."



" 'Dishkiyaaoon' is as commercial as the title. i am very excited it's our debut film project. Especially for Harman who looks amazing and Sunny paaji in a different role never seen before." Raj Kundra said in a statement.



Shilpa feels that the script of the movie will be liked by larger audience. She said, "We are very excited about our very first production. In keeping with our mission, this is a splendid script that will reach out to the large mainstream audience and it's our pleasure to be associated with eros and its global distribution network."



Till now Shilpa has also recorded two songs of the movie. She then tweeted, "Also recorded 2 songs fr Dishkiyaaoon with a new music director,Palash Muchchal who is jus 18! Such a bundle of talent..Amazed!"
