Bangalore is the best. And yes, for business too

The city has been ranked as the hottest business destination in the country leaving behind the likes of Mumbai and Chennai.



A study conducted by Global Initiative for Restructuring Environment and Management (GIREM) and DTZ states that qualities like good talent pool, availability office space, good education system makes the city the best location for businesses to invest.



"Bangalore has one of the highest footfalls of business travelers in the country, driven by the booming IT/ITes sector. It also has one of the most resilient real estate markets which offer commercial space at much more competitive rates compared to cities like Delhi, Mumbai or Gurgaon. This coupled with the famed entrepreneurial spirit of the city and a multi-faceted culture which is known to welcome all sorts of ventures, makes Bangalore a highly attractive destination for new businesses to set shop," says Shyam Sundar S Pani, president, GIREM.



In terms of various sector, the city fares good in human capital, health care services. However, in segments like energy, housing, malls & multiplexes, mobility, Bangalore still has a long way to go.



While places like Bangalore, Mumbai, Chennai, and Pune continued to occupy top positions, cities like Indore, Bhubaneshwar, Kochi, Coimbatore and Nagpur have improved by leaps and bound.
