PTU inter-zonal youth fest begins at GGNIMT

Gujranwala Guru Nanak Institute of Management & Technology (GGNIMT), Civil Lines, began its three-day Swami Vivekananda PTU Inter-zonal Youth Festival on Tuesday.



Day one of the festival witnessed a huge crowd of participants and eminent personalities from all across the region. Teams from 21 colleges participated in various musical, dance and fine arts events.



PTU Vice-Chancellor Rajneesh Arora inaugurated the event and congratulated the host institute. Punjab BJP state president Kamal Sharma was the guest of honour.



Dr Arora expressed satisfaction at the smooth working of the youth festivals. He motivated the students to participate in extracurricular activities, and advocated the need for teamwork.



In group shabad singing, GNIMT, Ludhiana, stood first. In Indian group song, BBSBEC, Fategarh Sahib, came first. In classical dance, DAVIET, Jalandhar, in classical vocal solo, GNIMT, Ludhiana, and in rangoli, DAVIET, Jalandhar, and in mehndi, LGC, Ludhiana, stood first.
