TRAINING COURSE ON HOME PREPARATIONS AT PAU

LUDHIANA, JULY 9:



A two-day training course on "Home Preparations during Rainy Season" will be organised for the farm women and the rural youth on July 17 and 18 at Kairon Kisan Ghar of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU). The Directorate of Extension Education of the PAU will supervise the course, in which special emphasis will be laid on imparting training to the participants in the preparation of seasonal food items, and in cleaning and care of household articles.



Divulging details, Dr M.S. Gill, Director of Extension Education, said that the home science experts of the University will educate the trainees about the diet for family during rainy season. Besides, the experts will give demonstrations on the preparation of mal pura, kheer and vegetable pura, he told. The care of children, and the care and maintenance of household articles and clothes during the rainy season will be the other focus areas of the course, he said. In addition, discussion about training activities, organized by PAU, for the farmers and farm women, will also be held, he said. The registration for the course will be held at on July 17 at PAU Kairon Kisan Ghar at 9.00 a.m.
