After making films on various segments of society, national award-winning filmmaker Madhur Bhandarkar now wants to make a realistic love story.
\"I am considering making a romantic and realistic musical film,\" Bhandarkar said.
Known for his films like \'Chandni Bar\', \'Page 3\' and \'Fashion\', the 44-year-old director said it would be a challenge to make a love story.
\"I want to make a simple love story with music. It is a genre I haven t ventured into. I thought it would be challenging for me to make a romantic movie,\" Bhandarkar added.
He also said that he has always stuck to his convictions and made the films he wanted to make, the director said he is also open to directing on television if he gets a good script.
Asked whether he intends to make sequels to \'Chandni Bar\' and \'Fashion\' he replied in the negative. \"I don t want to make \'Chandni Bar 2\'. I didn t think \'Fashion 2\' will happen. If a film ends on a high note, makes the audience think and lingers in the end that is needed,\" Bhandarkar said.
