Trailer review: Sunny Leone\'s Ragini MMS 2 is all about cheap thrills

With Sunny Leone on board, one expects a heavy dose of bold and sensuous scenes and the trailer gives us all that (right from the shower scene to Sunny\'s unzipping act), but the effect is not as expected.





Horror and sex go hand in hand, but rarely do filmmakers get it right. And the Ragini MMS 2 trailer proves it yet again.



Ekta Kapoor is no stranger to the genre and after films like Krishna Cottage and the recent Ek Thi Daayan, one wonders what went wrong with Ragini MMS2.



With Sunny Leone on board, one expects a heavy dose of bold and sensuous scenes and the trailer gives us all that (right from the shower scene to Sunny\'s unzipping act), but the effect is not as expected.



Intending to be a mix of sexy and scary, the trailer takes us through dark corridors of a haunted house, shows us a female ghost and gives us the barely-covered Sunny Leone; but turns out to be neither.



The teaser starts with Sunny taking a shower and unzipping her top to give a generous view of her cleavage. She is then seen comforting a girl who suddenly turns into a ghost. We then see Sunny enjoying a swim and teasing someone (the audience perhaps) by taking off her bra. And at this moment, a tagline pops on the screen asking \"Want to grab a bite of Sunny Leone?\"



While Ragini MMS had a balanced mix of horror and sex, the sequel seems to focus more on the latter.



The only thing that excites you in the trailer is the background score.



A sequel to the 2011 horror movie titled Ragini MMS, the story picks up from where it was left.



This time the story revolves around a film crew that reaches the same haunted house to shoot a film and what happens to them. The film is expected to hit the theatres on January 17, 2014.
