MUMBAI: Aug 19, 2013(7STARNEWS)A Mumbai court has set 5 September as the next date of hearing for Salman Khan\'s hit and run case. The actor was exempted from being present during today\'s court proceedings.
The Wanted star might be gearing up to host the new season of Bigg Boss where he offers the viewers a sneak-peak of the hell and heaven but his career\'s fate seems to be hanging somewhere between the both.
This June, Salman Khan, who was earlier charged under the sections for hit and run, was left shell-shocked when a Mumbai court elevated the charges to culpable homicide. The actor has pleaded not guilty in the court but if found guilty he could face up to 10 years of imprisonment.
He was earlier being tried under section 304 A of IPC (rash and negligent act causing death) by the Bandra metropolitan magistrate, which attracts two years of imprisonment.
