A woman is concerned with different relations like mother, sister and wife. A proper respect to her establish the character of society, so it's our social duty to pay respect to every relation which is connected with women. It is dire need of the hour to stop female foeticide, If we want to celebrate festivals like Teej. All the Girls & ladies gathered here should inculcate this spirit to save the future girls. These words were shared by Smt. Aruna Taneja W/o Dr. Vijay Kumar Taneja VC GADVASU at Teej festival of Guru Angad Dev Veterinary And Animal Sciences University. She said that it is a good platform to uplift and promote the hidden cultural talent of girls.
The Teej festival was celebrated at college of Veterinary Science. A large number of girls from different universities & many colleges gathered at GADVASU Campus to enjoy this cultural festival exclusively meant for eves. A number of competitions were arranged to develop a healthier approach for cultural traditions. Dr. Darshan Singh Badi Welfare Officer revealed the winner of different competitions.
