An emergency meeting of the United Cycle & Parts Manufacturers Association members who participated in 22nd China International Bicycle & Motor Fair -2012 was held under the Presidentship of Sh. Gurmeet Singh Kular, President UCPMA in which Sh. Rahul Tiwari, IAS, Deputy Commissioner Ludhiana was the Chief Guest and Sh. S.S Dhillon, Director MSME and Sh. B.S Nagi , Asst. Director MSME was the Guest of Honour.

The meeting was called for the disbursement of China Tour Subsidy Cheques to the members who participated in the above fair and who applied for the same.

Sh. Manjinder Singh Sachdeva, Gen. Secretary and Sh. Gurmeet Singh Kular, President welcomed, Sh. Rahul Tiwari, IAS, Deputy Commissioner for paying visit to the Association on our short time request for which we pay our gratitude.

Sh. Manjinder Singh Sachdeva requested to Sh. Rahul Tiwari, IAS, Deputy Commissioner for disbursement of Cheques of Subsidy of Rs. 1428446.00 received from MSME Govt of India New Delhi.

The 44 members who had been to China during 2012 were given cheques of China Tour Subsidy of Rs. 32450.00 per participants by Sh. Rahul Tiwari, IAS, Deputy Commissioner along with Sh. S.S Dhillon Director MSME, Sh. B.S Nagi, Assistant Director MSME, Sh. Gurmeet Singh Kular, President and Sh. Manjinder Singh Sachdeva, General Secretary .

Sh. Rahul Tiwari, IAS, Deputy Commissioner thanked to the Association for inviting on this occasion and congratulated the President Sh. Gurmeet Singh Kular for organizing the wonderful meeting. He focused on importance of the Cycle in the Country specially Ludhiana which is hub of engineering Industry and Manchester of India and shared his views that some area of Ludhiana should be marked as only for Cycles, Buses and Ambulances so that the congestion and pollution may be reduced and it will promote safe cycling. Out of 44 participants, 42 were present which received their subsidy cheques of Rs. 32450.00 each participant.
