MUMBAI : Actor Preity Zinta on Thursday clarified that she was not interested in inheriting Shandar Amrohi\'s property worth Rs 600 crore. The actor was speaking at a press conference in New Delhi where she was announced the Indian ambassador for the joint UN programme on HIV-AIDS.
\"I won\'t accept Shandar Amrohi\'s share of Kamal Amrohi\'s studio,\" Preity said. Shandar Amrohi had told TOI that Preity was like his daughter and he wanted to will everything to her.
Preity has been helping Shandar Amrohi for the past 15 days to get an FIR registered against his sister, Rukhsaar, and nephew, Wase-em, with the Khar police.
They have allegedly forged and also stolen share certificates pertaining to the family property, a source said. Waseem, however, has denied the charges claiming that the shares were transferred legitimately.
