Box Office Collection: Krrish 3 Beats Chennai Express 6 Days Record

Hrithik Roshan\'s Krrish 3 released in 4000 screens across Indian on November 1 and it was expected to beat all the records of Shahrukh Khan\'s Chennai Express, which has set several new benchmarks with its collection from 3500 screens at the Indian Box Office in the first weekend. But the Rakesh Roshan-directed superhero film failed to do so in the first three days. Interestingly, it has picked up very well on weekdays and beaten six days record of the latter in the domestic market. The Hrithik Roshan starrer raked highest single day collection on the fourth day. Taran Adarsh tweeted, \"And *highest single day* record lies shattered. #Krrish3 collects History on Mon. Collects Rs 35.91 cr. The highest *single day* figure EVER. Also, #Krrish3 hits a ton. Crosses Rs 100 cr mark on Mon. Fri to Mon: Rs 108.61 cr.\" Interestingly, Krrish 3 kept the bells ringing at the ticket windows on the following days too. The movie has crossed Rs 150 crore mark at the domestic Box Office in just six days. On Wednesday, Taran Adarsh tweeted, \"It\'s a rocking Tuesday! #Krrish3 is on a record-smashing spree. Collects Rs 26.26 cr. Total: Rs 134.87 cr. AWESOME.\" This morning (November 7), the trade expert added, \"#Krrish3 crosses Rs 150 cr mark in India. Wed: Rs 18.11 cr. Total: Rs 152.98 cr. FABULOUS.\" However, Chennai Express has collected Rs 156.7 crores nett at the Indian Box Office in seven days and its six-day domestic total was Rs 137.10 crores nett. Its breakup was Rs 6.75 cr in Paid Preview on Thu, Rs 33.12 cr on Fri, Rs 28.05 cr on Sat, Rs 32.5 cr on Sun, Rs 12.62 cr on Mon, Rs 11.5 cr on Tue, Rs 12.56 cr on Wed and Rs 19.6 cr on Thu. Now, Krrish 3 has almost surpassed its first week collection one day before the completion of the first week in theatres.
