Amitabh is all praise for RGV at Satya 2 event

Ram Gopal Varma is not known to be a social person but on Sunday evening he hosted a grand theme party for his latest offering, Satya 2 , which is scheduled to be released on Friday.



Highlight of the evening was the presence of Amitabh Bachchan and Manoj Bajpayee. The rumour mills had suggested that RGV had drifted apart from both these talents in recent times. While Big B and RGV worked together in a series of films such as Sarkar , Sarkar Raaj , Ram Gopal Varma Ki Aag , Nishabd, Rann and Department, Manoj got his big break in 1998 when Varma cast the actor as Bhiku Mhatre in Satya . Big B became the centre of attraction at the event as he entered the five star hotel in suburban Mumbai.



\"A quick visit to a \'party\' organised by Ram Gopal Verma, which has to be historic in concept because he never goes to one and never gives one… but he wanted me to be present for the introduction of his new film \'Satya 2\'... and may I say it was most impressive (sic),\" Big B blogged about the do.

The theme of the party was \' Satya\', and was meant to define underworld goons and dons, although many of the guests chose to turn up in regular party wear.



Bachchan was dressed in a black designer suit and black tinted glasses for the occasion, looking very much like a don from a Hollywood blockbuster.



Having worked with RGV in several films, Big B spoke about their experience.\" I have worked with him in a lot of films. Initially I thought I had done most number of movies with Hrishikesh Mukherjee but RGV has crossed that too. I feel good working with him,\" said the actor.



RGV spoke about his Bollywood journey, giving all credit to Bachchan as the reason why he was in the industry.



He emotionally hugged the actor at one point. In a mutual admiration mode, the actor praised the film-maker, too.
