Padma Sri Baba Sewa Singh managed Sri Guru Angad Dev College Khadur Sahib has shown splendid performance in the result of Diploma in stitching and tailoring (DST) declared by Guru Nanak Dev University Amritsar with its two students namely Sarpreet Kaur and kawaljit Kaur have secured places in merit list.
Sarpreet Kaur got 85.7 percent and Kawaljit Kaur got 85.5 percent marks and secured 7th and 8th positions respectively in university.
In addition to it, remaining students also have shown good result and all secured places in distinction category.
Expressing joy over the result, College Principal Dr. Surinder Bangar said, "Hard work and teaching skills of Prof. Manpreet Kaur Gill, are behind this good result."
"Students of others various degrees/courses taught in our institution, also got merit positions", he added.
He also said, "Our College has secured more merit positions in all recent results declared by GNDU than other colleges affiliated with later situated in rural areas."
