A delegation of United Cycle & Parts Manufacturers Association met the Deputy Excise & Taxation Commissioner Sh. Rishi Pal Singh, PCS and Sh. Tejveer Singh Sidhu , Assistant Excise & Taxation Commissioner under the leadership of Sh. Gurmeet Singh Kular President UCPMA. As per assurance and promise given by the Deputy Excise & Taxation Commissioner, Sh. Rishi Pal Singh, PCS regarding the refund of VAT. Cases of 9 parties were handed over to him of to the tune of Rs. 18410947.00.
The Deputy Excise & Taxation Commissioner assured the delegation that refund of these parties will be released within the 10 days.
Further it was suggested that C-Form must be made available on online so that people may not face any difficulty for the same. The DETC assured the delegation that they will give due consideration to this suggestion.
It was further decided that the purchase of Raw Material should be made on form –D so that 6% vat on output becomes payable of the purchaser.
In the delegation, the following members were present: Sh. K.K Seth, Sh. Jagatvir Singh, Sh. Baljit Singh Lotey, Joint Secretary, Sh.Harpal Singh Bhamber.
