LUDHIANA, JUNE 4:
The Centre for Communication and International Linkages (CCIL) of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) will celebrate "World Environment Day" on June 5 in association with the Institution of Engineers –India (IEI). Dr S. S. Gosal, Director of Research, PAU, will be the chief guest while Dr PPS Lubana, Dean, College of Agricultural Engineering and Technology, will preside over the function.
Giving details, Dr H.S. Sehgal, Additional Director of Communication, said that special lectures will be delivered by Dr G.S. Hira, former Additional Director of Research (Agriculture), PAU and Dr J.S. Dhiman, Additional Director of Research (NR&PHM), on this occasion. Besides, Er. M. N. Sharma, Chairman, IEI, Punjab and Chandigarh State Centre; and Mr A.K. Bakshi, Secretary, IEI will also grace the occasion with their presence.
