A delegation of United Cycle & Parts Manufacturers Association led by Sh. Gurmeet Singh Kular President (UCPMA), had gone to visit the 23rd China International Bicycle & Motor fair 2013, has returned today. The delegation was given warm welcome by the Mr. Ma Zhon Gchao Chairman, China Bicycle Association at Shanghai and also thanked the delegation for participating in the above show. The members of the delegation were shown the new products with new technology manufactured by them.

Every members of the delegation was surprised to know that the exhibition hall was of 120000 square meter having 1300 exhibitors from 23 countries who have participated in the show. The main focus of the Show was their high end products i.e. Alloy Frame & Fork, Carbon Frame & Fork, Alloy Suspension & Coaster Hubs. The delegation had an opportunity to visit at Shanghai Chun Zu Machinery Industry Co. Ltd who invited to import machinery from China to India to upgrade the Chinese technology for making high end Bicycles.

Sh. Gurmeet Singh Kular President, United Cycle & Parts Manufacturers Association and Sh. Manjinder Singh Sachdeva President Bicycle Research and Development Organization jointly had a meeting with the China Bicycle Association for creation of Technology Upgradation and Technology Transfer for Bicycle Industry which was very much appreciated by the members of the delegation.

Further the China Bicycle Association has assured that they are ready to visit the United Cycle & Parts Manufacturers Association for importing and exporting technology of Bicycle & Bicycle Parts. They has assured to visit India for technology Upgradation of Bicycle & Bicycle Parts industry within Two to three month which will boost the morale of the Bicycle & Bicycle parts Manufacturing units of the State.
