Mala Sinha refuses to accept Dadasaheb Phalke award

Yesteryears actress Mala Sinha, who has been selected for the prestigious Dadasaheb Phalke Academy Awards, is reportedly miffed with the committee responsible for giving Dadasaheb Phalke Awards.

The actress is furious over the fact that her name is missing from the invitation card. While the card has names of all other winners- Asha Bhosle, Pam Chopra (who is to receive the award on behalf of her late husband Yash Chopra and late superstar Rajesh Khanna, her name is missing despite her glorious career in Bollywood.

If sources are to be believed the actress is very insulted by this and has refused to receive the award.

Mala Sinha, applauded for her beauty and talent, has delivered several hits like Pyaasa (1957), Dhool Ka Phool (1959), Dil Tera Deewana (1962), Gumrah (1963), Himalaya Ki God Mein (1965) and Aankhen (1968).
