Inkaar actress Chitrangda Singh woke up on Saturday morning to headlines and television reports claiming she had obtained a divorce by \"mutual consent\" with her golfer husband Jyoti Randhawa.
Clarifying exclusively with this writer she says, \"It\'s not true. There\'s a mistake there (in the news report). There\'s no truth to this.\"
Rumours and reports of a rift between the two have been floating around for some years now. While pursuing a film career, the actress has been dividing her time between Mumbai and Delhi. The couple has a young son.
A friend of the actress says, \"Such speculation is a part and parcel of all long-distance marriages.\"
With Chitrangda is vehemently denying the fresh crop of divorce speculation, it remains to be seen how the couple steers its marriage away from the speculation of trouble.
