BOOK ENTITLED “Mere Mathe da Samundar” RELEASED AT PAU

LUDHIANA, MAY 7:



The President of Punjabi Sahit Akademi and the Editor (Punjabi), Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), S. Gurbhajan S. Gill, while releasing a book entitled "Mere Mathe da Samundar," penned by Prof. Harbans Singh, former PAU Editor (Punjabi), said that his (Prof. Singh) poetic collection depicts the realities of life, and speaks volumes of his inner voice and the past happenings.



The Additional Director of Communication, Dr H.S. Sehgal, said that in the Communication Centre, personalities like S. Kulwant Singh Virk, Sh. Ajaib Chitrakar, Dr Surinder S. Dosanjh, Urdu poet Krishan Adeeb, Amarjit Grewal and many others have made tremendous contributions to the field of literature through their writings. He congratulated Prof. Harbans Singh for writing down his thoughts in the form of poetry in his book "Mere Mathe da Samundar."



Prof. Harbans Singh said that his writings are inspired by the poet, Dr Harbhajan Singh and his classmates including Prof. Harinder Mehboob, Dr Surinder S. Dosanjh and Navtej Bharti. \"For his present book of poetic collection, published by Chetna Parkashan, the inspirational source has been Prof. Indey,\" he highlighted.



On this occasion, Dr Sukhdev Singh, S. Sukhbir S. Panwan, Dr M. S. Toor, Dr A. S. Bhullar, S. H.S. Mangat, S. Janmeja Johl, Dr J. S. Sidhu, Dr D.K. Grover, Dr Devinder K. Kochhar, Dr Pritipal K. Chahal, Sh. Satish Gulati, Dr Anal Sharma, Dr Manu Sharma and popular singers Sh. K. Deep and Sarabjit Virdi were present. The General Secretary of PAU Sahit Sabha Dr G. Pandher proposed the vote of thanks.
