PAU VC PRAISES ARTISTIC CREATIONS OF THAKUR DALIP SINGH

LUDHIANA, APRIL 12:



The Vice-Chancellor of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU), Dr Baldev Singh Dhillon highly praised the photography exhibition, put up by a well-known photo artist, Thakur Dalip Singh at Dr M.S. Randhawa Art Gallery of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU). The exhibition has been organized in association with India International Photography Council. Dr Dhillon expressed, "It is only after seeing the divine presence in the beauties of the nature that we are able to surmount all the vices including lust, wrath, greed, pride and envy." Besides the artistic creations of the eminent artists namely S. Sobha Singh, Kirpal Singh, Dev, Satish Gujral, Shiv Singh, Jaswant Singh and G.S. Bansal, the PAU also displays the world renowned creations, he highlighted. The photos, clicked by Thakur Dalip Singh, illuminate the young minds to develop patience in life, he added.



Appreciating the photography exhibition, S. Kulwant Singh Ahluwalia, Member, Board of Management, PAU, suggested the University to have more displays of the creations of the prominent artists of the national fame. This will inspire the students to develop creative sensibilities, he said, adding that love for art is the real wealth of life.



Among others present on this occasion included Dr M.S. Gill, Director of Extension Education; Dr H.S. Dhaliwal, Additional Director of Extension Education; Dr A.P. Singh, Senior Editor (English); Dr M.S. Toor, Professor of Economics; S. Gurbhajan S. Gill, Editor (Punjabi), and members of Young Writers' Association.
