Farewell party of Panjabi deptt was organized today .Mrs. Gurminder Kaur Principal Govt. College for Girls, Ludhiana was the chief guest .Prof. Krishan Singh Head Panjabi deptt. welcomed the Chief Guest and told about the achievement of the department. The particular moments that Paramjit Kaur first in first semester in Panjab University examination and Parampreet Kaur also stand first in third semester of the Panjab University examinations. These two girls was also honoured by then Principal of the College and she congratulated Prof. Krishan Singh and staff members for their achievements .She said that Panjabi is the state language of Punjab and every student must learnt this language properly. Principal also presented the setup books to the newly married students of the Panjabi Deptt. Miss Fare well contest was held and following results of competition:

3 Jasvir Kaur :- Long hair

4 Ramadeep Kaur :- Beautiful Eyes & Walk.

Cultural programme like lok Giddha ,Gazal was presented on this occasion. In the end of the function Mrs. Paramjit Kaur proposed the vote of thanks and many staff members included Mrs.Narinderjit Kaur ,Sudesh Rani, Distt.Sports Officer, Nawan Shehar.
