LUDHIANA, FEBRUARY 20:
The Department of Entomology of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) will be organizing a special basic training course on "Beekeeping" for SC/ST from March 18-22, 2013 at University Apiary. The course will be held under the aegis of Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojna (RKVY).
Giving details, Dr Balwinder Singh, Head, Department of Entomology, said that the course will have a provision for only 40 trainees belonging exclusively to SC or ST categories. Alongwith the attested copies of caste certificate, applications on plain paper stating particulars of the candidate about qualification, contact address, and phone number will be entertained in this department upto March 8 only. He informed that the candidates will be called for training on first come first serve basis subject to fulfilling the conditions of the caste. Selected candidates, who will be informed by phone or post, should be present on March 18 at 9.00 a.m. at PAU Apiary, Ludhiana, said Dr Singh.
