LUDHIANA, DECEMBER 6:
A team of home scientists of the Punjab Agricultural University (PAU) namely Dr Priayanka Prasad, Dr Kiran Grover and Dr Jaswinder K. Sangha have bagged "J.N. Bose Memorial Award" in the field of community nutrition. The award was conferred upon the home scientists for their research project entitled "Obesity and its Associated Risk Factors among Postmenopausal Women." The PAU scientists were presented the award during the Golden Jubilee Conference of Indian Dietetic Association, held at National Institute of Nutrition, Hyderabad, from November 29 to December 1. The Ph.D scholars namely Neetu and Monika Chaudhary also won the Best Poster Award during the conference.
Dr Neelam Grewal, Dean, College of Home Science, PAU, appreciated the participation of the team of home scientists and congratulated them for this achievement.
