The Campus of Govt. College for Women Ludhiana dazzled with colour amid Fresher's Day celebrations . It was a special moment for Freser when senior students of the institute organized a cultural show to welcome new courses.

Principal Mrs. Gurminder Kaur presided over the function Mrs. Paramjit Kaur ,Incharge students presented a bouquet as a token of love to the Guests Hon'ble Mrs. Ninderjit Kaur Dhillon, Mrs. Satiinder Kaur Bisla & Mrs. Urvinder Kaur Grewal.

The cultural extravaganza comprising a welcome dance modern dances song, skits and Mono acting captivated the audience and lent colours to the celebrations. The hallmark of the day was Ms. Fresher contest in which more than 35 students took part the stage came alive as the contestants sashayed down the ramp in the scintillating attires. There were three question answer rounds. The judges for the Ms. Fresher contest was Hon'ble Mrs. Ninderjit Kaur Dhillon, Mrs. Satinder Kaur Bisla & Mrs. Urvinder Kaur Grewal.

Speaking on the occasion the Principal appreciated the efforts put in by the students and congratulated them on their excellent performance. She said that the Youth Festival of Panjab University Chandigarh is going to held in month of October. I appeal to the students to participate in this festival with enthuism. Prizes were the distributed by the guest jointly. The were happy that the efforts put by students are excellent. Mrs. Paramjit Kaur Incharge Students Council Proposed a vote of thanks.
