PAU TRAINING FOR FARM WOMEN AND RURAL YOUTH ON HOUSEHOLD PRACTICES

LUDHIANA, JULY 16:



A two-day training course on "Household practices during rainy season" will be organized by the Directorate of Extension Education on July 19-20 at Punjab Agricultural University (PAU). Farm women and rural youth from various parts of the state will participate in the course which will focus on special cookery, cleaning and care of household articles.



The Director of Extension Education, Dr M.S. Gill, said that the PAU home scientists will dwell upon the nutritious and healthy diet for family, care and maintenance of clothes and care of children during rainy season. Besides, the experts will impart practical training in the home-made preparations such as mal pura, kheer, vegetable manchurian and aamras, he added. In addition to the discussion about training activities of PAU for farmers and farm women, an interactive session will be held wherein all the queries of the participants will be responded. Dr Gill informed that the registration for the course will take place at 9.00 a.m. at PAU Kairon Kisan Ghar.
