The Communist Party of India (CPI) has in very strong words condemned the 12% hike in the Electricity tariff which is already very high in our state. Com Kartar Singh Bowani-Distrtict Secretary CPI, Com Ramesh Rattan City Secretary, Dr.Arun Mitra Assistant Secretary, Com D P Maur Assistant SecretaryDistrict unit termed it as bolt from the blue for the common man already reeling under difficulties due to exorbitant increase in prices of Petrol and other essential items. This has exposed the real face of the government which was just waiting for the local bodies elections to end. They demanded immediate roll back of the increase in prices of petrol.
