Bhog of Sri Akhand path of Shri Guru Granth Sahib ji was solmenised at Guru Anagd Dev Veterinary and Animal Sciences University In connection with the Parkash Purb of Guru Angad Dev ji. Community langar was served after the bhog. It is pertinent to mention that the veterinary university was established in year 2006 on the name of second guru, Guru Angad Dev Ji. Guru ji was the thorough animal lover and a number of sick and injured animals got treatment in his personal care. Parkash purb of guru ji's was on 18th April. In this context akhand path was started on 23rd April. Dr. Darshan singh Bari welfare officer of varsity revealed that Bhai Maninder Singh ji Srinagar wale recited the heart toching kirtan of holy Shabads. A year calendar dedicated to Guru Angad Dev Ji was also released by Dr. V.K.Taneja Vice Chancellor of University.On this occasion a large number of devotees from Guru Angad Dev Veterinary & Animal Sciences University, PAU and outsiders from campus paid their respect. Employees, teachers and students of university contributed their service with tan man and dhan in the akhand path.
