Priyanka Sharma of the S.C.D Government College Ludhiana has topped the Panjab University M.Com Business Innovations First Semester Examination which was declared by the Panjab University today. Priyanka scored 640 Marks out of 800 and ranked first in the University. Roshini Kapoor got second position in the University by scoring 639 marks out of 800 and Kirti Dhawan stood third in the university by scoring 637 marks out of 800. 37 students of the course out of total 42 students got first division. The Score of the first ten students who got position in the Merit list of the University are: Priyanka Sharma (640), Roshini kapoor (639), Kirti Dhawan (637) Saru Jindal ( 619) , Manisha Vats (617), Sakshi Gupta (610), Shaina ( 609) Pranav Gupta (606) , Isha Dhawan (598) and Jasmit Kaur (587). Priyanka Sharma who got first position in the University was also the topper of the PGDCA last year. Principal of the College Mrs Jasbir Kaur Makkar congratulated the students and the faculty specially the programme coordinator for excellent result with high score. Yesterday a team of the Panjab University also visited the college to inspect the progress of the course and gave a very appreciable note on the achievements of the department of business innovations . It is pertinent to mention here that S.C.D Government College Ludhiana is the only government college in the state which has been given Innovative Programme by the University Grants Commission. Because of the subsidized fee and quality of the programme the students are showing tremendous response in the programme.
