Ego Clash in Old and New generation posing threat to human values: Two days workshop on Personality Development concludes

Ego Clash in old and new generation is positing threat to human values and the man is suffering from different disorders in life. Because of these disorders people are going for their solutions to yoga gurus, psychologists and others to get peace and harmony. People should be trained to live in different ego state of mind to live peaceful and happy life and remove personality disorders. These were the views of Dr. Meenakshi Malhotra an eminent Management Guru and Behavior scientist from University Business School Panjab University Chandigarh. Dr. Malhotra was addressing to the students of M.Com Business Innovations at the concluding day of two days Workshop on "Managerial Skills and Personality Development" conducted by the Post Graduate Department of Business Innovations at SCD Government College Ludhiana. Dr. Meenakshi was the key note speaker at the concluding day of the Workshop who also speak on the transactional analysis at different stages of mind. Dr. Manpreet Kaur, Research Scholar from Guru Nanak Dev University presented his views on Emotional intelligence and with the help of various examples explains how different situations demand different emotions to handle the different stages. She also cited the ways to control anger in life which some times poses threat to the personality of human being. Prof. Paramjit Singh Grewal spoke on the role of values in Management and said that the organizations without values cannot survive for a longer period. He said that you can grow for short period without values but ultimately research has shown that companies with values based policies has gained success in life. Dr. Ashwani Bhalla , Programme coordinator of the M.Com Business Innovations talked on interpersonal skills and shown with the help of vedio clips how the interpersonal skills were helping the organizations to reap larger profits .

Students of M.Com Business Innovations also exhibited their various Managerial skills with their presentations. Among others, different teachers of the department like Prof. Suman Lata, Prof. R.K. Miglani , Prof. Kanwaljit singh from GTB College Dakha also presented their views on different facts of personality development. Forty three student of M.Com Business Innovations participated in the two days workshop.
